Welcome to Artist Publisher
For the past year or so, I’ve been exploring what happens when I bring ChatGPT into my daily creative life. I’ve used it to write memoirs, develop stories, revisit old projects, and think through new ideas. Along the way, I’ve developed a way of working that has become an important part of my artistic practice.
One thing led to another. Conversations became writing. Writing became illustrated stories and narrated books. These experiments took shape in Mollyverse, my own creative website, where I developed and tested many of the ideas behind Artist Publisher. Eventually, I wanted a way to bring all this material together and publish it without spending half my time managing a website.
So I began developing Artist Publisher.
And this is what I’ve come up with so far.
I’ve put together a starter site that combines a WordPress website with a publishing system designed around the way I work with ChatGPT. The idea is to make it easier to move from a conversation to a finished piece of writing, accompanied by images and audio when appropriate, and then publish it with as little fuss as possible.
This is your copy of that starter site.
You can use it to show your artwork, write about what you’re doing, revisit earlier work, keep a journal, develop a memoir, or experiment with entirely new forms of writing. I’ve organized things around three broad areas: Journal, Memoir, and Literature, but those are just starting points.
Everything is here for you to begin experimenting with your own work, using ChatGPT as your collaborator and this website as your publisher.
It’s your website now. Make it your own.
